David García Núñez has been elected as the new President of the Spanish Club of Directors of Institutional Relations and Communication. This organisation is made up of more than 70 leading professionals in the field of institutional relations, belonging to some of the most important Spanish companies in their sectors. The Club brings together knowledge, experiences, projects and ideas to build a connected and innovative business ecosystem.

The club is a non-profit organisation and is becoming a strategic meeting point and benchmark for dialogue and joint business action, addressing the major challenges facing the country and Europe by fostering collaboration between the main players in the public and private spheres, thereby promoting economic and social progress in an era of profound change.

In the words of David García Núñez, president of the Club, ‘our mission is to bring executives together to generate value, encourage the exchange of ideas, experiences and projects that contribute to achieving innovative solutions that strengthen the Spanish business fabric and have a positive impact on society. We are becoming a pioneering benchmark that people can join, become part of and set as a model for collaboration and business relations’.

We are currently experiencing a time of global transformation, with major challenges that we must address as a civil and business society. Companies have a responsibility to anticipate, share knowledge, take joint positions and achieve solutions that promote economic and social progress for all.

At the club, we are leading the change, promoting public-private engagement on issues such as talent, the humanisation of AI, the optimisation of business competitiveness with a sustainable balance, etc. We are positioning plurality and dialogue as fundamental pillars of the organisation and our members in order to provide innovative solutions to society.

Club members meet regularly to discuss and analyse the most relevant strategic issues affecting both the business world and society as a whole. The club organises talks, debates, conferences and meetings with key stakeholders, where executives have the opportunity to build strategic alliances that promote economic growth and social welfare.

Constant interaction with government institutions, third sector organisations and other relevant actors allows for the establishment of a cooperation network for the design and implementation of long-term solutions.
