A group of 35 prominent professionals in Institutional Relations, belonging to some of the most relevant Spanish companies in their sectors, has decided to pool their knowledge, experiences, projects and ideas with the creation of the Spanish Club of Institutional Relations and Communication Executives.
This new non-profit professional space seeks to become a strategic meeting point for dialogue and joint action, with the aim of addressing the major challenges facing the country by fostering collaboration between the main players in the public and private sectors to promote economic and social progress in an era of profound change.
The Club was created with the mission of bringing together executives to generate value, encourage the exchange of ideas, experiences and projects that contribute to achieving innovative solutions, strengthen the Spanish business fabric and have a positive impact on society.
Its main promoters, Íñigo Garde (Endesa), Blanca de Ulíbarri (KPMG) and David García (FCC), emphasise that ‘we are living in a time of global transformation, of great challenges that we must address as a society. Companies have a responsibility to anticipate, share knowledge, take joint positions and achieve solutions that promote economic and social progress for all’.
‘We must lead change, promote public-private engagement on issues such as talent, the humanisation of AI, the optimisation of business competitiveness with a sustainable balance, etc. In the initial meetings to set up the Club, we sensed that there is a common feeling that we will only move forward as a society if we manage to be pluralistic and enrich dialogue in search of innovative solutions.’
A space for exchange and growth
This new forum will meet regularly to discuss and analyse the most relevant strategic issues affecting both the business world and society as a whole.
In this context, the Club will organise talks, debates, conferences and meetings with key stakeholders, where executives will have the opportunity to build strategic alliances that promote economic growth and social well-being.
Constant interaction with government institutions, third sector organisations and other relevant actors will enable the establishment of a cooperation network for the design and implementation of long-term solutions.
